Book Description

This book was funded through a generous grant from Colorado’s Department of Higher Education. The reading passages were adapted from open-source freshman-level textbooks, available through OpenStax and Open University. This means the readings are similar to what can be expected in a freshman level course. Additional pre-reading and post-reading activities were written by Kathleen Mitchell, Matthew Burrows, and Kendra Staley at the University of Colorado Boulder’s International English Center.
